Christmas Caroling and Hayride Dec 20th@5:30pm

Please meet us at the entrance to Galatas Gym on Nasssau at 5:30 and bring a small flashlight if you can. We will be awarding the winners of the decoration contest as we roll through Driftwood! Open to all civic members and you can join or renew that nightūüéĄ


All Driftwood Park residents are asked to attend this important meeting.

When?   Wednesday March 16th, 7 PM

Where?   The cafeteria in WG Schneckenberger Elementary School located at 26 Earnest Ave.

The Kenner Police Department will be there to discuss what we can do to protect ourselves and help make our community a safer place to live and work.


Annual Driftwood Parade January 23rd at 1 pm

The Kreme of Driftwood rolls through the neighborhood on Saturday January 23rd at 1 pm. Kick off Mardi Gras with in Driftwood style by either entering a float or by coming out to view the parade. Invite family and friends over for the parade and what amounts to the biggest block party in Driftwood.

There is no fee to enter a float. All you need is a truck with a trailer (or even just a truck bed) that can be decorated.  Look to the right side of our website for tips & tricks on float building and some photos of previous year floats.

If you would like to enter a float, contact Dona Reynaud at 909-4004. This year’s theme is Driftwood’s Favorite Holidays.

Christmas Caroling Hayride

Come join us for our annual Christmas Caroling Hayride on Sunday December 20th, 5:30 pm.

We will meet in front of the Driftwood Country Club at 5:30 to load up in the hay wagon. As we sing our way through Driftwood, we will make stops as we award prizes for best decorated homes and doors.

If you don’t join the hayride, listen for us and step outside to wave as we drive passed.

Driftwood Neighborhood Watch

Our neighbor, Matt Davis, has taken the lead in creating a Neighborhood Watch for our neighborhood.

Street captains are being joining in to help coordinate efforts on each street.  Please consider joining in the effort to help keep our streets safe and crime free.

Saturday October 31 5 pm to 6:30 pm – Halloween Spook-to-Do

Open to Civic Association Members, you may join for $25 at the door if you are not currently a member. Snacks and costume contest. Come by the club before hitting the sidewalks for trick or treating. Hope to see you there!

The Kenner Police Department as well as local officials will be there. KPD will explain how the Neighborhood Watch Program works and how we can all be involved in helping to prevent crime in our neighborhood.

With recent events in our neighborhood, we hope that everyone will help get involved in a Neighborhood Watch Program!  Please plan to attend.
