Saturday January 31st, the Krewe of Driftwood will be seen rolling through the neighborhood. Set out some chairs, throw hot dogs or burgers on the grill, invite some friends, and enjoy the best parade in Kenner. Children from our neighborhood will ride in floats built by parents, throwing beads and trinkets. You’ll see your favorite local politicians, and bikes and many dance teams. It is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
(If you pray, please pray for nice – WARM – weather. 🙂
Driftwood Parade Route Map
Thanks to everyone who came out to join us last night for the Hayride and Caroling. The kids enjoyed cookies and milk before and after a lovely hayride along the streets of Driftwood. We sang Christmas carols and stopped to deliver awards for the best decorated yards and best door decorations.
Congratulations to the winners, and to all in the neighborhood who provide beautiful decorations and lights for all to enjoy throughout the Christmas season.
